People often pursue therapy because they are unsettled or anxious about some aspect of their life.

In our culture of quick fixes and searching online for answers, it’s a brave and curious person who is willing to invest time and energy to better understand who they are, and how this impacts every area of their life.

Over the past 20+ years in private practice, I have walked with many patients through challenge and difficulty into deep healing, dynamic growth, and lasting change.

If you are looking for a deeper level of awareness and connection with yourself and those around you, I would be honored to walk alongside you on this journey.

My Approach

Learn more

I specialize in the deep work of helping patients understand themselves, their origins, and how their early experiences shape who they are. This therapeutic approach enables my patients to experience lasting change and a deeper connection to themselves and others.

This deeper work explores beyond the surface of my patients’ behaviors, thoughts, or feelings. It takes us to the origins of who they are. We take time and space to explore what is beneath the feelings; including the stories, the experiences, and the beliefs that have shaped how they feel, in turn shaping their behavior.

The model I have come to resonate with and specialize in is British Object Relations therapy, a psychoanalytic theory grounded in a developmental perspective on healing and change. This theory provides a structure for therapist and patient to explore those early experiences that have shaped who they are.

It’s deeply rewarding work to walk with patients as they brave these deeper waters, and come out the other side having experienced deeper healing, meaningful growth, and positive lasting change in their lives.
